Kennedy's Two Month Check-Up

Kennedy went for her two-month check-up today and she is a healthy little (or not so little) baby! She weighed 11 lbs., 7 oz. and was almost 24 inches long! She is in the 60th percentile for weight and head size and in the 85th percentile for length. The head size didn't surprise us because Jamie and I both have big noggins, but the weight did surprise us. She has been eating well but we thought she would still be in the 10-lb. range. And of course, Jamie and I are short, or vertically challenged as some say, so we don't expect her high showing in the length percentile to continue.

Of course, with the two-month check-up also comes the first round of shots. Kennedy squalled but luckily we had given her Tylenol before her appointment so her legs weren't too sore afterward. We gave her a bottle of milk in the car on the way home and she was pretty content.
