We laid Kennedy down in the creeping phlox to get this photo. We wanted her to smile, but instead she was like, "Why am I on the ground???"

Kennedy looked like a beautifully decorated little Easter egg today in her Easter dress from Granny. She also had new shoes and an Easter bonnet. The bonnet was a gift from the family that bought Mer's old convertible (which, incidentally, would have been glorious to drive around today!) Church was fantastic today. Kennedy was attentive and quiet during the entire service as if she knew how significant this day was, of all days. Happy Easter, everyone!
