Jamie's Garden

Jamie decided to start a garden this year, mainly because the terraced beds full of weeds were pretty ugly.

One day when Meredith came home from work, the weeds were gone and the plants were in the ground as a surprise. Kennedy was craving fresh vegetables. :-)

Now he's really gotten into it. He's out every morning watering before he goes to work, usually in his bathrobe. The mosquitoes have really been enjoying that!

We are growing tomatoes, yellow squash, cucumbers, red and green bell peppers, banana peppers, and basil, cilantro, sage, thyme and mint. We've already eaten some squash and cucumbers, and cooked with the herbs. The tomatoes should be ripe soon and we're looking forward to that.

Thanks to the MiracleGro Jamie has sprinkled on everything, all of our veggies (and weeds) are growing like crazy!
